Chadanben and Somalal Harilal Desai Arts College and Mrs Lilavati Kirtanlal Lalchand Doshi Commerce college is situated at Balasinor , Dist- Mahisagar, state-Gujarat. It is situated on Sevalia- Balasinor Road, on 59th national highway (Ahmadabad to Indore).
C & S.H. Desai Arts College and L. K. L. Doshi Commerce College, Balasinor was founded by the Balasinor Vidya Mandal in1969. Balasinor Vidyanamdal, Balasinor, was founded in 1968 by some education oriented enthusiastic veterans of Balasinor under the inspiring leadership of late Shree Mohanlal S. Modi,, the first president of Balasinor Vidyamandal.
It is one of the premier institutions of higher education , catering to the needs of this relatively economically and socially backward region of central Gujarat. We can say with great joy that it has indeed grown from a seedling into a tree that has not only sheltered thousands of youngsters but has also moulded them into great personalities The college has ever since followed a narrative of openness keeping the access to higher education equitable and affordable to the underprivileged, the marginalized and the deserving.
A Constitutent College of Shri Govind Guru University , Gadakpur-Godhara , the college is located at Sevaliya- Balasinor Road on 59th National highway (Ahemdabad-Indore). It imparts instruction in commerce and arts, both at the under graduate and post graduate levals leading to B.Com , B.A (English, Hindi, History, Economics, Gujarati , Sanskrit ) and M.A (English, Hindi, History, Gujarati , Sanskrit,Economics ) , M.Com and M.S.W degree of SGGU University.

The College can boast of having the highest number of students (in the colleges of the central Gujarat). The strength of students in the college has increased from mere 200 hundred in 1969 to 3500 in 2018.
The college has creative its place in extra-curricular activities alongside its academic performance in SGGU. A large range of cultural and sports activities are carried out throughout the year which add a lot in the multidimensional development of the students of the college.
